We need your support!!
As you can imagine an event like BMD takes a lot of organisation and a lot of manpower!! Without volunteers we just couldn't do it. There are a number of ways you can help out so please call us on 01 6618000 or email roisin@downsyndromecentre.ie if you think you can lend support in any of the following ways:
Collection Points
To make it easier for women to donate dresses we are currently looking for more collection/drop off points. Please let us know if you would like to nominate your business/workplace or home and we will add it to our list.
Drivers
If you have transport and would be willing to help out by picking up dresses at the various drop off/collection points around the country we would love to hear from you. We will also need drivers on the day of the event so if you have a few hours to spare please let us know which area/county you are in.
General Organisation
We hope to have over 5,000 dresses for sale on the day so we will need lots of help sorting, hanging and labelling them in the lead up to the event.
Pinny Women
If you love fashion and all things girlie and have a few hours to spare between 10am & 6pm on Saturday 28th May then please let us know. It's a fun day and anyone who helped out last year had a fantastic time and even managed to bag a few bargains!
